About Enlighten

Krissy Howell has been specializing in hair color, hair cuts, and makeup for 16 years. She would consider herself a “blondeologist” because she feels like blondes are her strong suit. During her entire career, she’s worked in Tupelo and is deeply connected to her community. Her care and pursuit for client satisfaction has led her here to Enlighten Salon & Spa, a place where her clients can unwind and enjoy a well deserved "me day". Krissy is passionate about doing hair and makeup for weddings and special events but no matter what the occasion, she finds joy in helping her clients look and feel their best!

With her outgoing personality, Krissy never meets a stranger and her two sons, Presley and Landry make sure she never stops smiling. She’s been here at Enlighten since the beginning and refers to this place as “home”.  Her goal is to create a positive and relaxing environment for everyone.

Lisa Dye joins us as a licensed cosmetologist of 27 years. Her passion is to help her clients look their best, from hair coloring, highlighting, and hair cutting to teaching them how to style and care for their hair at home. 

Originally from Tupelo, Lisa graduated cosmetology school in Nashville and worked in Franklin for a year and a half before moving back to her hometown. Lisa currently lives in Mooreville and loves spending time with her family - she has two children, Tucker and Kenzie.

With 12 years of experience in the beauty industry, Beth specializes in creating stunning hairstyles for women and providing expert full-body waxing services. Her passion is helping clients feel confident and beautiful by delivering personalized looks that enhance their natural beauty. Whether it’s a fresh new style, a color transformation, or smooth, flawless skin, she’s dedicated to providing top-tier service in a comfortable and welcoming environment.

Olivia Amos is a Hairstylist, Extension Specialist and Makeup Artist. She has 6 years of hands-on experience behind the chair, but started assisting in a salon at the age of 15. Specializing in color corrections, lived-in blonding, and extensions, she finds joy in not just styling and coloring hair, but also educating clients on hair wellness and self-care, empowering them to confidently manage their hair at home.

Originally from Canada, she grew up around the film industry, where her passion for hair and makeup was sparked by watching the magic happen behind the scenes. Now she has made a home in Tupelo with her husband, baby boy, and two cats. On her days off, she loves going to church, taking stroller walks with her family, and traveling.

Beyond enhancing outer beauty, Olivia's true passion lies in creating genuine connections with her clients, and encouraging them to embrace their inner beauty and confidence!

​Gelyn Millen is an experienced beauty professional with three years of expertise in nails, waxing, and hair services. Specializing in nail care and precision waxing, she brings passion and dedication to every treatment. She also offers soothing head spa sessions designed to leave clients feeling refreshed and revitalized!

Sydney Harris is an Ole Miss alum born and raised in Tupelo, Mississippi. What started as a fun hobby quickly became a cosmetology career that she is incredibly passionate about! She is dedicated to making everyone feel and look their very best. She specializes in event makeup and lived in blonding. She is a firm believer that makeup is a tool to magnify the beauty that already exists, and loves taking a light handed, natural approach to help you achieve your most flattering look. When she’s not in the salon you can find her spending time with my family! She looks forward to helping you achieve your hair and makeup goals! 

Melissa has been a stylist since 2005. She started her career in Nashville where she had the opportunity to work backstage at the CMA's, Musician Hall of Fame and on set with many amazing artists. As a member of the Aveda Runway Styling Team for two seasons, she worked NY fashion week with some of the Industries leading stylist, learning and honing her skill. She is an advocate for education in this ever changing field.

Her favorite parts of being a stylist are the ability to work in a field she is passionate about and the opportunity to build relationship with her guests. Melissa specializes in custom coloring and cutting. 

Gracie is a hairstylist from Pontotoc, MS, and she’s been behind the chair for a little over two years. Ever since she was young, she’s had a passion for hairstyling, and now she gets to live her dream every day. She truly loves what she does—helping clients feel beautiful and confident is the best part of her job.

For her, it’s not just about hair; it’s about building relationships. She loves getting to know her clients, understanding their style, and creating looks that make them feel their best. Whether you’re here for a bold transformation or a simple refresh, she’s excited to bring your vision to life.

Annalee's favorite services are lived-in blonde and extensions. She loves to travel. Whether it's for a day or a week, she loves to see and experience new places!

A fun fact about Annalee is that being a hairdresser runs in her family. She meets so many people in her chair that have either had their hair done by her grandmother or great-grandmother.

Estephany has been in the hair industry for 6 years and she is never afraid of a challenge whether it’s a bold color transformation or the perfect lived-in look, she is always up for it!

Coming from a Hispanic family, Estephany was raised knowing that beauty comes in many different forms. That perspective shapes the way she works behind the chair. Her goal is to help every person who sits with in her chair to feel confident, beautiful, and completely themselves.

When not at the salon, Estephany probably with her cat, Mimis (you’ll definitely hear about her) or on a spontaneous road trip with her boyfriend. She truly treasure new experiences and making meaningful memories! 

Brylee discovered her love for doing hair at a very young age. As a little girl, she would spend hours brushing, braiding, and styling the hair of friends and family members, always eager to learn new techniques and try new looks. What began as simple play quickly grew into a true passion. She found joy not only in the creativity of hairstyling, but in the confidence and happiness it brought to others. Even then, Brylee knew that making people feel good about themselves was something she wanted to do for the rest of her life.

As soon as she graduated from high school, Brylee pursued her dream and began her journey in the beauty industry. Determined and hardworking, she committed herself to perfecting her craft and building meaningful relationships with her clients. For Brylee, hairstyling is more than just a profession—it is a ministry. She strives to ensure that every client who sits in her chair feels beautiful, valued, and loved. Through her kindness, encouragement, and dedication, Brylee hopes each person not only leaves with hair they love, but also experiences the love of Jesus shining through her work and her heart.

Since her early teenage years, Marlene has always had an interest in the beauty industry, although she never imagined it would become her career. During her senior year of high school, she began doing nails as a creative outlet and hobby. What started as a fun distraction quickly turned into a true passion.

She decided to enroll in the nail program at cosmetology school, not quite knowing what to expect—but it didn’t take long for her to realize she had found the perfect path. Now, almost three years into the beauty industry, Marlene continues to grow her skills and expand her artistry.

Marlene specializes in custom nail designs, acrylic, Gel-X, builder gel, and creating beautiful, personalized sets for every client. She loves bringing her clients’ ideas to life while helping them leave feeling confident and put together. As the years go on, she looks forward to continuing to grow in the industry and perfecting her craft.
